What does "deckled edges" mean?
If you've ever held a piece of fine art paper, an old book, or a handmade letter, you might have noticed that the edges weren't perfectly straight. Instead, they were beautifully soft, feathered, and uneven. Those are deckled edges.
Historically, paper was made entirely by hand, sheet by sheet, but when industrial machines came along, they started cutting paper into perfectly straight, sharp lines to mass-produce it faster. The handmade magic was lost.
In printmaking, tearing your paper to deckle your edges is a time-honored tradition and a quiet nod of respect to the craftspeople who came before us. The soft, wavy edges show the piece is crafted by someone and is one of a kind.

- Ongoing Subscription — Receive a new envelope every season, billed quarterly. Cancel, pause, or skip anytime. Best value option with 10% off each edition.
- One-Time Purchase — Buy a single seasonal envelope, delivered this season.You can opt for a one-time season purchase, will be billed quarterly on the date of your initial subscription purchase. Cancel, pause, or skip at any time.
- Annual Subscription (4 Editions) — A full year of letters, billed quarterly over 4 cycles.

What is your shipping time?
Orders are carefully prepared and shipped within by the end of the month that the seasonal shipment closes (e.g., Fall 2026 edition closes Sept 15th 11:59pm ET and letters will be shipped by the 30th).
Please allow 3 weeks for arrival for international shipping.
